Jack-isms

Snack Store [snak stohr] Proper noun, often preceded by 'The'

1.  an establishment where snacks (i.e. Swedish Fish, Cheez-its and Tummy Ticklers) are sold; commonly referred to as a gas station or convenience store; a product of grandparents who let children out at said gas stations and convenience stores to witness the snack mecca.


USAGE: (in context)

Jack, upon being picked up from school: Mama, where we going today?
Mama: Well son, we're going home.
Jack: But do you have a snack for me?
Mama: No, but I can get you a snack when we get home.
Jack: But I think we should stop at The Snack Store to get me a snack!
Mama: The Snack Store?
Jack: Yeah! Where the snacks all are!
Mama: Oooooooooooh-kay, we'll stop at The Snack Store...?
Jack, while stopped at a traffic light, peering out at a gas station: MOM! There's The Snack Store!!!
Mama thinking: Aha, it all makes sense now.
