Since Jack started Pre-K, he now is supposed to be at school by 8 am, so that means that on the days that Daddy takes him to school, they leave the house before I leave for work. We used to leave at the same time, so this has caused a little adjusting in our schedule, to say the least.
Anyway, one day this week I was still in my bathroom getting ready, not yet dressed, doing my hair when the boys got ready to leave. Jack comes in and asks me if I will walk him out so I can blow kisses (a good-bye ritual for him). I, of course, complied.
As we were walking down the stairs, I was putting my bathrobe on and tying it up when the little man looked back at me and the following exchange took place:
Jack: "Are you puttin' your robe on so nobody will see you a-nekkid?"
Me: "Yes, honey, I am."
Jack: "Yeah, 'cause nobody wants to see that." (No joke.)
