What felt like the longest year ever, with Chris away, was followed by what has felt like the longest summer! In the few short months since Chris returned, we have packed in as much as possible and it's been exhausting, as evidenced by the fact that the last time I graced this blog with my presence was to say Chris was coming home!
Since the end of June we have:
- Celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary
- Been to New Orleans
- Taken swimming lessons
- Had Gramma here from Vegas
- Had family vacation in Port A
- Spent 5 days in Junction with the Ashton's
- Had a Housewarming Party
- Spent a day at Splashtown
- Had Gramma here from Vegas again
- and spent 5 days in NYC
I, for one, am thankful it's over! I'm looking very forward to the holidays in our new home, accompanied by cooler weather and a little more relaxing. In the meantime, I'm going to try to get our summer events posted here to the blog.

No wonder I didn't see you all summer; you've been one busy lady! Sounds like you've been making up some lost time and having a great time doing it. Looking forward to seeing you when life slows back down a little.
